Event : Code_Aster Professional Network at EDF R&D the 7th of july 2011

The Code_Aster Open Source users are sincerily welcome to the launching day of the Code_Aster Professional Network, opened to all, that will be held on July 7th, 2011 between 9:30 am and 2:00 pm, Ailleret Hall in Clamart/France. Registrations here.

To strengthen and extend the community of professional users, this network tackles several needs :

• to encourage professionals to communicate on their commitment - in particular on the place held by Code_Aster in their software policy for simulation ;
• to support the mutual exchanges of a professional network in order to publicize the successful realisations (dedicated tools, distribution of applications, capitalization of the know how …) and to create partnership opportunities ;
• to bring forward shared needs and encourage the B2B services offering around Code_Aster by companies having shown the required qualification level ;
• to highlight the uses of Code_Aster in education and research.

Several members of the Community will talk about the place held by Code_Aster Open Source in their companie. Services providers will show their offers.

The same day, between 2:00 pm and 5:20 pm, EDF R&D organizes, at the same place, a seminar on the topic "industrial R&D for expertise and open source : a common future ?"

Several presentations will initiate the discussion on the first feedbacks from all the open source software released by EDF R&D: Code_Saturne, Code_Aster, Openturns, Télémac - Mascaret.
