reliability and risk analysis

Dear colleagues,
Attached are a set of educational videos related to a very important topic : incorporating uncertainty in engineering design (reliability and risk analysis). The videos illustrate how the following opensource tools can be used to achieve this goal:

openTurns (www.openturns.org), Scilab (www.scilab.org),code_aster under Salome-Meca 2011.1 (http://www.code-aster.org/V2/spip.php?article303),  under Caelinux operating system (www.caelinux.org) OR  Ubuntu operating system (www.ubuntu.com)

You will find that I upload each video to 2 different sites (multiupload & mlf.net). Since mlf.net only accepts small size files, I zipped each of them as a multivolume archive. To extract such an archive download all its parts to the same folder and then remove the .zip extension from their names so that the last part of the name is the number. By double clicking the first part of an archive then it will be extracted.

Later on, we will show how we can link openTurns to CFD software like openFoam

Note: I browse the Internet with out loading pictures(edit-->preference option-->content--> load images automatically is unchecked) and with flashblock (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...on/flashblock/), so I would not notice if any of the uploading sites is not respectful enough. Although , I upload to these sites because they are recommended as decent still if any one noticed that any of the sites I upload to contain indecent content, please tell me so that I would look for more respectful sites.

Code_Aster release : NEW11.x on (Ubuntu Precise Pangolin 12.04 64 bits) and (Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 32 bits) - GNU + Intel

Code_Aster. What else ?

Note :
I strongly advise that no one visits such file sharing sites except without loading pictures and with flash block active because such sites often contain advertisements that are not decent.

Your links are again dead. Could you please upload them on caelinux wiki or Code_Aster wiki, whichever allow you to upload large files?
