]]>My understanding is: SN, SMFY and SMFZ all contribute to sigma_xx, while SVY contributes to sigma_xy, SVZ to sigma_xz and SMT to sigma_yz. This is in the local coordinate system, which is main coordinate system of inertia of the cross section as described in R3.08.01. On that coordinate system the x-axis goes along the beam length, the z-axis is vertical on the cross-section and the y-axis is horizontal on the cross-section area.

So I’m wondering, aren’t there any sigma_yy and sigma_zz components? Have I misunderstood something?
