Hello,
Are the wizards available somewhere now, like it was in version Salome_Meca 2016 (Linear elastic, Modal analysis and Linear thermic, XFEM)?
The wizards provided a quick build basic of analysis (now it takes much more time).

Hi all,

1. I ignored the installation error:

Installation of   : aster 13.2.0
Destination       : /home/arias/aster
Elapsed time      : 4994.84 s

See detailed traceback in the logfile
                                                                       [FAILED]

2. I copied the files:
config.txt from /.../aster/13.4/share/aster/ to /.../aster/stable/
profile.sh from /.../aster/13.4/share/aster/ to /.../aster/stable/

3. I copied:
elem.1 from my Linux to /.../aster/13.4/lib/aster/

4. I ran ./as_run --quick /.../xxx.comm /.../xxx.med

I'm constantly having an error, see bash_out.txt but with:

DEFI_FICHIER(UNITE=80,
        FICHIER='/usr/local/example/Wynik.rmed',
        ACCES='NEW',
        TYPE='LIBRE',
        ACTION='ASSOCIER',);

I have results!

Is there a better solution?

Hi

It is the oversized example of the pre-seal.

The seal of this type requires pre-interference, the socket is made of steel and seal is made of PTFE.

Hello,

How can I determinate the state initial in the calculation XFEM (CALC_K_G+PROPA_FISS)? I have a problem with that, because in my calculations state initial=INST 0. I want to determine state initial (residual state) at INST=1. I attach an example based on the ARC SHAPE test.

Now I use:

But the results are weird, eg. number of cycles rather than grow decreases (PARIS).

Using # INST = [2] to display in the table all the value in time.

Is there possibility to save solution automatically in folder which contains "Input.comm" file?

I actually use full save path:

DEFI_FICHIER(UNITE=80,
        FICHIER='/home/rafal/Dokumenty/XFEM_MID/XFEM_MID/Arc_PLANE4/Wyniki.rmed',
        ACCES='NEW',
        TYPE='LIBRE',
        ACTION='ASSOCIER',);

But it is very uncomfortable, because I have to change this path very often.

When I change it to short version, like this:

DEFI_FICHIER(UNITE=80,
        FICHIER='./Wyniki.rmed',
        ACCES='NEW',
        TYPE='LIBRE',
        ACTION='ASSOCIER',);

It doesn't work, the output is saved in /tmp/.../.../Wyniki.rmed folder!

Is there a better way (automatically)?

1. Create a group -> All:

2. Display the results for this group -> All:

Hi all,

Please help me with contact ElAS <-> HYPER_ELAS (Steel <-> PTFE), in annex I present my example geometry.

Object "Rowek" is described material ELAS (E = 191000MPa), the object "Oring" is described material HYPER_ELAS (equivalent E = 500MPa), the difference in rigidity is so high.

The model is axisymmetric (model is section 3 degrees in 3D), fix_z <-> DZ = 0.0, fix_y <-> DY = 0.0, fix_f <-> LIAISON_OBLIQUE.

Calculations were divided into two stages, 0 to 1 fitting "Oring" (seal) to "Rowek", 1 to 2 load pressure on "Oring", load = 600MPa (GROUP_MA=load; PRES_REP). Model converges at 0 to 1 but not from 1 to 2.

My questions:
1. What kind of contact is best to use in this case (type, size constants)?
2. It is possible omissions this contact for some kind of glue? Surface master1 master2 treatment as guides for slave1 and slave2, they adjust to these guides and can slide over them (master1, master2).

Hi,

In the calculations I use the model VMIS_CIN2_CHAB, the equation used to construct the curve present in the Annex (Chab.zip). For uniaxial tensile response curve corresponds to the curve built by equation in excel (I assuming B = 0 and R_I = 0).

Please help, where to put these two factors (how the equation looks like when B and R_I not equal to zero)?
