Hello Jacopo, I am trying the same as you. Did you solve the problem in relation shell to shell? I tried a lot of liaison functions but didnt solve.

Thank you

I am trying to bond two Coque_3D meshes, parallel and separated by some distance (thickness divided by 2).

I already read a lot of documentation and my first thinking was to use Liaison_Mail. But as some of you know I always got an error because of the DOF of the middle node of each element.
I also tried to use Liaison_Group but the thing here was a differente number of nodes between the two meshes.

I could pre-process the geometry to join the two faces but I want to know if it is possible to bond two Coque_3D meshes in Code_Aster. Hope someone can help.

An image is attached for better understanding.

I am Luís Seixas from Porto. I am a student from Mechanical Engineering in FEUP and currently working daily on Code_Aster using the interface Salome-Meca. The reason is that my Master Thesis will be about the application of open source software for FEA of transformers structures and routines for structural optimization.
I am really looking forward to be part of this community.
