#6 Re: Code_Aster usage » calc of root mean square after random analysis » 2014-11-26 19:09:57

Hi

A quick answer.

You are right, but the RMS can be defined also as the second momentum formula (see attached) and medium value it is always zero. Than RMS = 1 sigma.

Actually is similar with harmonic, 1 sigma of acceleration (or measure unit) input and 1 sigma of acceleration output (or measure unit).

I will send you one of my examples.

#7 Re: Code_Aster usage » calc of root mean square after random analysis » 2014-11-25 17:17:08

Hi

I'm also using the Code Aster to simulate random vibrations. I can confirm that the ECART value it is standard deviation (1 sigma ) and in hypothesis of random vibration (mean value it is always zero) it is equal with rms value as well.

To have coloured pictures you can scale displacement calculated in modal analysis considering 1 sigma displacement and can read 1 sigma stress as well. By the way, how did you calculated 1 sigma stress? If you want I can give you one small example.

Have a nice day!

Can be fixed?

In version 12 everything was fine.

In version 12.1 the files are present in the directory like in version 12. The only think it is the error message. Can I test somehow if it is ok?

Here it is my log file:

#15 Code_Aster usage » Stress spectral moments » 2013-02-27 12:24:48

Hi,

How I can calculate spectral moments of stress with "REST_SPEC_PHYS" operator in random analysis. Previous I calculated "SIGM_ELNO" on modal base.

I still get an error:

 !-------------------------------------------------------------------!
   ! <F> <ALGORITH14_62> !
   ! !
! il manque la déformée modale nom_cham SIGM_ELNO pour le mode 1 !
   ! !
   ! !
! Cette erreur est fatale. Le code s'arrete. !
   !-------------------------------------------------------------------!

I'm interested to use spectral moments of stress in "POST_FATI_ALEA". Or maybe there is another procedure.

Thanks!

Hi

In SM 2012.2 I was running my files with command:

 /opt/codeaster-2013.1/bin/as_run sdld325a_1.export

In Salome Meca 2013.1 I get an error:

Simply is to do it in excel. Divide with "-*omega^2", each value.

Hi

I have libraries "libblas-dev and liblapack-dev" installed, but instead of "libblas.a", I have "libcblas.a". It is this ok?

In package manager it is "libblas-dev".

Hello,

/opt/aster/bin/as_run --make clean && /opt/aster/bin/as_run --make

but you can see the result below.
