Stress/strain results in shell elements

Hello.

I have created a simple cantilever plate model (10mm thick steel) with a positive surface pressure, which causes the plate to bend downwards. This is correct, as the force acts in the opposite direction to the surface normal, according to the documentation U4.44.01

The stresses and strains on the lower surface (SIXX,EPXX) are negative, as would be expected. However, the bending moment and curvature along the length (Mxx/kxx) are positive.

There seems to be a problem with the sign convention here. Can someone comment on this please?

I am using version 9.1 on Windows. I have not checked the results on Linux yet. The model files and results are attached to this post.

Thanks,
Todd.
