[SOLVED] Plate stresses and strains at the nodes

Hi

I'm running a composite plate model (DKT with DEFI_COQU_MULT)

I can calculate the element stresses and strains ok with

firstply=CALC_ELEM(RESULTAT=result,
                   REPE_COQUE=_F(NUME_COUCHE=1,
                                 NIVE_COUCHE='INF',),
                   OPTION=('SIGM_ELNO_DEPL','EPSI_ELNO_DEPL',),);

which gives the following output by element

But I would also like to calculate the average of these stresses and strains at the nodes.

I have tried using CALC_NO but Code Aster says it is not possible to calculate SIGM_ELNO_DEPL and EPSI_ELNO_DEPL with this command. Is it possible?

You can try SIGM_NOEU_DEPL and EPSI_NOEU_DEPL with CALC_NO in stead.

Ok I managed to get this working with the following code

firstply=CALC_ELEM(RESULTAT=result,
                   REPE_COQUE=_F(NUME_COUCHE=1,
                                 NIVE_COUCHE='INF',),
                   OPTION=('SIGM_ELNO_DEPL','EPSI_ELNO_DEPL',),);

firstply=CALC_NO(reuse =firstply,
                 RESULTAT=firstply,
                 OPTION=('SIGM_NOEU_DEPL','EPSI_NOEU_DEPL',),);

IMPR_RESU(RESU=(_F(RESULTAT=firstply,
                   GROUP_NO='L_CENTRE',),),);

Strangely, it doesn't work unless the result from CALC_NO is re-entrant. I think this must be a bug.

this might be a bug, but then it is intentional.
In the mess file you get:

resuNO=CALC_NO(CRITERE='RELATIF',
                                 RESULTAT=resu,
                                 OPTION=('FORC_NODA','REAC_NODA',),
                                 PRECISION=9.9999999999999995E-07,);
 
!  cette commande ne fait que compléter un résultat composé déjà existant. !
!  il faut donc que le résultat de la commande :  resuNO                   !
!  soit identique à l'argument "RESULTAT" :  resu                          !

meaning more or less - by Babel Fish:
! this command does nothing but supplement/add one already existing composed result. !
! it is necessary thus that the result of the command: resuNO !
! is identical to lthe argument "RESULTAT": resu !

Though I do not know why this should be re-entrant.
