Force on a Volume

Hello,

i am new to Salome / code_aster and have a basic question. I want to do a simulation on the effect of gravitational bending to a thin sheet of metal.
In the Salome Geometrie-Modus i have defined a group containing the volume.

Now i want to do a linear elastics analysis in code_aster. However in the linear-elastics-wizzard i cannot select the group containing the volume. (and i do not know how to define the direction of the force eighter)

how can i apply the force to the volume?

Re: Force on a Volume

the gravitational load is not included in the SalomeMeca Wizard. You must insert it in the .comm-file using an editor (or eficas). The syntax:

Gravity=AFFE_CHAR_MECA(MODELE=Model,
                       PESANTEUR=_F(GROUP_MA=('PART_1','PART_2',.....),
                                    GRAVITE=9.81,
                                    DIRECTION=(0.,0.,-1.),),);
