I am using Salome Meca 2019.0.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.
It used to run without a problem, but since last week I am getting this message:
Quote
Can't save file "/home/johan/FEA_Projects/XXX/Study1.hdf".
Possible reasons:
- permission denied;
- unsufficient disk space;
- application error.
Try to use another file name

Sometimes I can save a file a few time, and then it starts, and I loose all my work or try. Sometimes it does not even save on the first attempt.
There is about 150 GB free on the disk and deleting the previous saved version or using another name does not help.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance

I got myself new Ubuntu compatible hardware and (touch wood) my woes seem to have disappeared.
I have now worked for 5 days on the new machine and I have not had any memory violations or file save errors or hanging of the software.
