deflection of midpoint of membrane defined by GRILLE

Hi all,

I have modelled a multi-storey building frame with slabs modelled by GRILLE_MEMBRANE in AFFE_CHAR_MECA.
The code works nice and showing the satisfactory results.

My question is :

Is it possible to get the midpoint deflection of the slab(GRILLE_MEMBRANE).

Since there is no node at that point I am unable to get it.
Can anyone tell me or point me towards the possible reference?

Use Stanley, it allows adding point where no nodes exist and then using projection utilities will allow to interpolate fields at this newly created point.

Thanks for replying.

I tried the above and found out that for the type of element GRILLE_MEMBRANE, the whole membrane is showing same deflection.
So even if I add a point in the middle of slab using stanley and use interpolation of field, it will not yield me the necessary results.

I am attaching a simple case here where the model is a one bay, two frame, one storey frame. The model is subjected to vertical ground motion.
And I want to get the displacement of midpoint of slab (where there is no node).

I tried dividing the slab in four segments so that I will have one node in the middle but in this case slab is unstable and fails without loading.

So kindly let me know how exactly can I get the deflection of midpoint of slab.
