reinforcement modelling for shear wall

I am trying to model a RC shear wall with in-plane loading.

Let me first describe briefly the modelling details.

The wall material is concrete and reinforcement is by steel.

I model wall as 3D elements and reinforcement as beam elements. However, both the meshes are computed separately in SALOME and then I build compound mesh. So obviously the nodes of wall elements and beam elements do not match. Hence when I applied load to the wall, the reinforcement shows no deflection(which is obvious). In other words, reinforcement is not used in calculation.

I would like to know if there is any way by which I can connect the nodes of concrete element and steel element easily. I think I can do that by using LIAISON_UNIF but doing that for each node is almost impossible for the size is too large.

Or is there any other way in SALOME meshing so that I can mesh the reinforcement and concrete separately and yet nodes will match?

I hope I am going in the right direction for modelling RCC. Please do let me know in case I am terribly wrong.
