MACR_ADAP_MAIL and projection stress field into refined mesh(MAJ_CHAM)

Hi Code_Aster community!

Last time I've met striking bug. I tried to refine mesh (consisting only hex/quads elements), and project existing field of stresses from previous STAT_NON_LIN. Whole .comm file was created based on zzzz175b.comm. During MACR_ADAP_MAIL function I met EXCEPTION:

Problem occurs only with 'ELGA_SIEF_R' type field (i.e. with NOEU_DEPL_R everything is ok), and ONLY with mesh-hex(with tetra everything is ok, like in zzzz175b case).

My questions are: Is it a bug, that MAJ_CHAM doesn't work with SIEF_ELGA_R and mesh-hex? Will it be improved in the next C_A version?

In the attachment you can find both meshes(hex and tetra, .comm file, and both .mess files)

Hello,
You are right. The interpolation of fields that are located over points of Gauss is not available for hexa. See line #1182 in ProjEr_hexa.mess
Unfortunately, there is no decision to improve that at the moment.

Thank you for reply Nicholas. I recommend add this restriction to official MACR_ADAP_MAIL documentation - it will save a lot of troubles in the future : )

No. You can refine hex mesh smile just it's impossible to simultaneously project stress filed into new refined mesh.

Hex mesh refining is possible. See doi:10.1016/j.advengsoft.2016.07.014 for example.
But the interpolation is only available for the fields over nodes or elements but not over Gauss points.
