Error when launching calculation

Hi

I'm just testing out '2018 for the first time with a simple case. However, when I reach the point where I launch the actual calculation, I get the following error:

Type: UnicodeDecodeError
Value: ('ascii', 's\xc3\xb8n-29-143114', 1, 2, 'ordinal not in range(128)')

..with below details.

Traceback:

Re: Error when launching calculation

Hello,

This is indeed a known issue in AsterStudy that is linked to the locale settings of your OS.
If by any chance some weekdays in your native language contain non ASCII characters (e.g. lørdag or søndag),  Python will fail to output the timestamp.

The post below provides a workaround: https://code-aster.org/forum2/viewtopic … 165#p55165

Best regards,
TdS
