OpenGL problem with virtualbox

I installed salome meca 2018 on ubuntu 18.04 running on the latest virtualbox with guest additions. Salome opens without any problems. However, in the geometry environment, in the main window the coordinate system has a rectangle at the origin in the xoy plane. And the main window always remains on top when other menus and popups are activated.

In the terminal window, the following error message was found.

OpenGL Warning: No pincher, please call crStateSetCurrentPointers() in your SPU.

Anybody else also having this issue?

Please help, thanks.

Re: OpenGL problem with virtualbox

Researched a bit more on the web. This seems a known and unsolved bug of virtualbox for a few years.

Re: OpenGL problem with virtualbox

Hello,

Thanks for confirming that. If you still have the references you read on the web, I would be grateful if you could post them here.
