Arret par manque of temps cpu

Dear all,

I have a very long analysis which ends for reaching the time limit. However it does not write the output files at the end. I have already solved the issue of writing the output when there is an error related to convergence problems in STAT_NON_LINE (by means of Python "except"), but it seems not working when the error is related to time limit.
Can anyone help me?

My .export file reads:

	P actions make_etude
	P memjob 6291456
	P memory_limit 6144.0
	P mode interactif
	P mpi_nbcpu 1
	P mpi_nbnoeud 1
	P ncpus 1
	P testlist verification sequential
	P time_limit 60000.0
	P tpsjob 1001
	P version testing
	A memjeveux 768.0
	A tpmax 60000.0
	F comm test.comm D 1
	F mail test.med D 20
	F mess test.mess R 6
	F resu test.csv R 8
	F rmed test.rmed R 80

Thank you,

Corrado

Re: Arret par manque of temps cpu

Hello,

Everything is OK for STAT_NON_LINE:
- no convergence
- save the (converged) results

But, not in CALC_CHAMP ! You Don't have enough CPU time in this command !

Never do the post-treatment in the same command file that a long computation !

Dear AsterO'dactyle,

Thank you for your reply. How would you suggest to fix this to make sure it always save the results ven CALC_CHAMP?
Regards,

Corrado

Re: Arret par manque of temps cpu

For sure it's a bit late but anyway... as far as I know, the way to go is to create a .comm file that actually solves the problem, i.e. the STAT_NON_LINE problem and assigning a folder for database in ASTK. This will save the results in a compressed file which  later can be accessed via another .comm file that begins with POURSUITE () and in this new comm file you create the CALC_CHAMP and other fields that you need for post processing
