Salome Meca 2019.0.1-2-LGPL

There seems to be a new version of the Salome Meca Package dated nov 26th (salome_meca-2019.0.1-2-LGPL.tgz).

Could someone help me understand better the release process of the LGPL versions:
- Does anybody knows how the announcements are made for the release (can't find anything about this new package)?
- Should I install it?
- What are the differences with 2019.0.1-1, is there a changelog somewhere?

Thank you for your help.

Re: Salome Meca 2019.0.1-2-LGPL

Hi,

I have just now installed this version and run a simple linearly elatic study, without any issue. My system is ubuntu 18.04LTS.
The following are the noticeable changes:
1) This version includes Open Turns module.
2) There is no need of renaming/removing the livstdc++* files in

 yourHome/salome_meca/V2019_univ/prerequisites/debianForSalome/lib/

and creating there a symbolic link to the system libstdc++ library
3) You need not source

 YourHome/salome_meca/appli_V2019_univ/env.d/envProducts.sh

before launching this version.

Hope this helps.

Best regards
