Python equivalent of CA results [SOLVED]

Dear CA users and experts!

I would like to know if there is a general naming convention for the data sets generated to store the code aster simulation results in python?

Simply put, I have a simulation result from DYNA_VIBRA, say dynaRes = DYNA_VIBRA( ... ) , of which I want to have the SIGM_ELNO results for the mesh group "Column", is there an abbreaviated data storing variable that contains this data ? I find data manipulation and post-processing with python easier than with CA specific commands.

Thank you,
Tamas

Re: Python equivalent of CA results [SOLVED]

Hi Tamas,

as far as I know, you can easily output the results of a simulation in table format. If you want to work with python, CA supports outputting the results as a Numpy array (.npy).

Here is the relevant information: u4.81.21 to extract values off a simulation; u4.91.03 to output a table.

Re: Python equivalent of CA results [SOLVED]

Now, that is something I have been having issues with! I just cannot find the "Mark as SOLVED" or anything similar button! big_smile
Or do I just rename the forum title ?

Renaming is (I suppose) the way it is done smile
