salome_meca LGPL Binary 2020.0.1 checksum

Can anyone confirm what I am seeing in Ubuntu 20.10 sha1sum and md5sum that the LGPL Binary of Salome_Meca does not check out with the value on the site here?

I had a slow download this morning and had checksum fails, so maybe thought the file was corrupt. Now, after it is later, my download is much faster but my checksum is still failing in both types and I attempted a couple of times.

I want to try this newer version before reverting back to Ubuntu 20.04 (the 20.10 upgrade has been miserable with CA -> I am also very ignorant and of limited ability to troubleshoot problems that are easy for others)

Re: salome_meca LGPL Binary 2020.0.1 checksum

Hello,

md5sum of the SM2020 .tgz yields d6fb934ff967ee32aebc4e46ab703b47 and
sha1sum yields 4882ae785034ca31bdb6018b138ac33cde0697b3

The md5sum of my installed file is thus quite different to that on the download page, but everything works with 20.04 (I had to do sudo apt install python before installing, though),

Mario.

Hello,

I found in my enviroment, that Sha1sum value in Code-Aster site is valid for extracted Salome-meca package. At least for me it matched to file ending .run, not for .tgz
